Recipe shared by Michigan 2019 Teen “Chopped” Competition contestants. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Sweet Potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp. Paprika
  • 1/4 Tsp. Garlic Powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray large baking sheet with non-stick spray. 
  2. Place sweet potatoes and oil in a zip top bag, toss to coat potatoes. 
  3. Arrange potatoes on the baking sheet, do not overcrowd. Sprinkle fries with seasonings. 
  4. Bake until tender and golden brown, turning occassionally – about 18-24 minutes. 
  5. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
